I was so sorry to hear about Bill. I just found out he had passed away. He and my dad Charles Duff. who passed away in January of this year were good frieds, and I had the priviledge od fishing and hunting with Bill on several occasions. I know he had a tough time, as of late, and we Dove hunted together a few years back, and I would always see him at Owens Restaraunt.
I will deeply miss him, and the times we spent outdoors.

I'm writing to send my condolences to Mr. Ernest's family. I did not know him personally, but by the comments and the obituary, it's clear he was a good man and well loved. A scripture that has always brought me comfort at such times is John 5:28,29, where Jesus said the day is coming where all those in the memorial tombs will come out. I hope you can find strength from those words as I do. With deepest sympathy, Michael.

We will certainly miss Bill's visits to our office. He was such a gift and our lives are better to have gotten to know him. My one regret is we didn't get to fish together...I can only hope that one day we will...

To Mr. Cavey's family:
I knew Mr. Cavey for only a short time, but I enjoyed every minute that I spent with him. My thoughts are with you all, and you're in my prayers.
He served this country with great pride. I am grateful for his sacrifices.

Poem for Bill:
Our friendship began with you as our delivery man
With your kindness, you brought us laughter from a friend
The best delivery was your smile to us each day
And ?hugs for my girls? you would always say
One day you came in and gave us a scare
We worried and fretted with such great care
So with a prayer and a pedal, we hit the road
My heart was so heavy with this precious load
In good hands you were left with a kiss on the head
I hated to see you in that hospital bed
Before we knew it, you had come through
How happy we were to hear news from you
Remembering ?your girls?, you brought us a gift
Those peanut butter balls that we already miss
Our friendship grew stronger as years grew from days
We cherished your visits and lunch from Subway
Good times we?ll remember and let no one shake
Like dinner with ?your girls? while eating a steak
Though it seems you have left us and gone far away
You?ll always be with us, in our hearts to stay
We once were strangers who just said, ?hello?
From that, grew a friendship that we?ll never let go
In the hearts of ?your girls? a place has been filled
By a friend that we love, our friend, named Bill
We miss you already! Love, 'Your Girls'
