I loved and appreciated Gladys so much! After bing the organist at West Lynchburg Baptist for over 3 decades, she passed the job on to me and it was a privilege to learn from her. She was never critical or jealous, but instead, was supportive and encouraging. Catherine and I will miss her.

Gladys will be missed. She always made you feel welcomed and she was very kind. I am sure she is playing an organ right now up in heaven to God's glory!

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I first met Gladys as a member of the American Guild of Organist. She was a sweet lady and I really looked forward to seeing her each month as well as talking to her on the phone for some musical advice from time to time. She was one of a kind. God Bless.

Gladys was a very sweet lady and played the organ beautifully. I was secretary at West Lynchburg Baptist Church part of the years when she was organist. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this most difficult time, but know that she is in a better place and we will all join her and Bob one day.

Gladys gave me a warm welcome when I married her nephew and joined the Blanks family. She was always friendly to me, interested in what I had to say, and appreciative of my Christmas gifts. I will miss her smile, her kindness, and her love.

Gladys was my last surviving aunt. She was a sweetie and will be greatly missed by my sister Donna and me.
