Obituary of Virginia Middleton

Virginia Harris Middleton, 93, of Lynchburg, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Westminster-Cantebury after an extended illness. She was the widow of Robert Maurice Middleton. Born March 8, 1915 in Charlotte County, VA, she was a daughter of the late Christopher Mays and Myrtle Jennings Harris. She was a loyal and faithful member of Inglewood Baptist Church for 63 years where she loved to sing in the choir. She was a retired private duty nurse. She is survived by three children, Bobby Middleton of Moneta, VA, Billy Middleton and his wife Danna of King George, VA and Jane Middleton-Weisenbeck of Sterling, VA; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A celebration of Ginny's life will be held Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at 12 noon in Inglewood Baptist Church with the Pastor Cathy Nicholls officiating . The family will receive friends today from 7-9 pm at Diuguid Wiggington Chapel. Interment will be in Fort Hill Memorial Park. Diuguid Funeral Service-Wiggington Chapel ( 385-8900 ) is serving the family.
