Janice Lavern Jamerson Wood Janice Lavern Jamerson Wood. 69, of Lynchburg passed away Sunday, July 26, 2009 in Lynchburg General Hospital. Born April 23, 1940 in Lynchburg she was the daughter of Edward Earl and Marguerite Templeton Jamerson. Lavern is survived by many loving friends and family and especially her adopted sister, Cynthia Mays and special adopted nieces, Perdeda L. Irving and Sonyia C. Irving all of Lynchburg. A graveside service will be held Monday at 2:00 pm in Spring Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Dodson, Jr. officiating. Diuguid Wiggington Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
