Obituary of Louise Isaacs
Louise Tanner Isaacs, 84, of Lynchburg
died Tuesday, March 3, 2009
at Lynchburg Health and Rehabilitation
Center. Born in Campbell
County on March 27, 1924 she was a daughter of the late
Neal Tanner and Annie Jones Tanner and was the widow of William Franklin
Isaacs, Jr.
Mrs. Isaacs was a member of Thomas
Road Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Alice I. Greene and her
husband, Jessie of Lynchburg.
Two sons, Arthur W. Isaacs and his wife, Sandra of Peoria,
AZ. And Stuart D. Isaacs of Concord.
Her grandchildren, Kim G. Dalgo and her husband, Ronnie , Jessie J. Greene, Jr.,
Michael Isaacs and his wife, Jennifer, Matthew and Raven Isaacs, Yvette Wilson
and Stormie Williams. Great grandchildren, Torrie and Maya Dalgo, Cameron and
Riley Isaacs, Ryan Perry. One Sister, Virginia T. Coates and one brother, Jones Tanner both of Gladys.
She was preceded in death by two daughters Marian I. Greene
and Vivian Moore.
The family would like to thank the staff of Lynchburg Health
and Rehabilitation Center
for their loving and gentle care.
A celebration of Louise's Life and Faith will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday,
March 6, 2009 at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel with Pastor Marvin Suitt officiating.
Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the
service and at other times at the home of her daughter, Alice, 123
Sandy Grove Ln.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Bobby Lee
Hartman Playground Fund, C/O Living Word
Baptist Church, Forest,
Va. or St. Jude's Children's' Hospital,
Memphis, TN.
