Dr. Duff was my Foreign Affairs professor at Randolph-Macon Woman's College. I'll never forget our senior seminars with him, whether held on the green in the front campus fields, or at the nearby pub. He always made his discussions exciting, he was a briliant, and gentle man. He was a professor I admired and respected. I am sad to learn of his passing, but I will always remember him, and the things he taught me. God Bless, you, Dr. Duff.

My condolences to the family. I was a political science major (class of 1975) and always enjoyed Dr. Duff's classes and the fact that he took teaching seriously, but not himself. He had a good sense of humor and was such a nice person. I remember him laughing when some of us showed up at his door to collect the $1 we'd bet him on the momentous King-Riggs tennis match!

I am so sad that Dr. Duff passed away. Whenever I think of RMWC, so think of Dr. Duff. He was by far my favorite professor and advisor. I was alway lucky to be in his first "Decade of Turmoil class in 1976 (I graduated in 1979).I was lucky enough to see him again in California in the 80's when he was lecturing for the Alumnae's.He will be tremendously missed by so many people. Know that my thoughts are with your family. What a loss!Julie McIntosh, Class of 1979

To the Duff family:I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I am a member of the R-MWC Class of '81 - and a political science major. Dr. Duff was truly an amazing professor with tremendous insight, but perhaps even more importantly, one of the most genuinely nicest people I've ever met. My prayers and thoughts are with his family and friends.
