Obituary of Neva Michael

Neva White Michael, 69, of Lynchburg, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at her residence. She was the wife of the late William Russell Michael. Born July 28, 1940 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late William Thompson White, Sr. and Nellie Carwile White. She was a member of Rivermont Ave. Baptist Church and had retired from the Miracle Mart where she was the manger for 15 years. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, William R. Michael, Jr. She is survived by two daughters, Loretta D. Davis and her husband Jim of Jasper, AL and Linda G. Arthur of Lynchburg; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, William T. White, Jr. and his wife Charlotte of Louisville, KY; and dedicated friends, Sarah and Roger White and Patricia Daniel. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 am. Friday, October 9, 2009 at the residence. Anyone wishing to make memorial contributions is asked to consider the American Cancer Society or the family to help with final expenses.
