Obituary of Winifred Bohon

Winifred ?Niki? Case Bohon, 73, of Lynchburg, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at her home after an extended illness. She was the widow of Clemons Carson Bohon, Sr. Born September 25, 1936 in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Walker and Mary Arlene Jennings Case. She was retired office manager with Central Virginia Trucking. ?Niki? was a member of Timberlake United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, Clemons ?Chip? C. Bohon, Jr. and his wife Karen of Brewster, MA and John Walker Bohon and his wife, Pamela, of Forest; two sisters, Mary ? Deda ? Case Bohannon and her husband John of Forest and Barbara Case Marshall and her husband, John, of Middletown, NJ; three grandchildren, Kaitlin Shea Bohon, Jeremy Rowlett and Jeff Rowlett; a sister-in-law, Julia M. Case and a brother-in-law, James T. Davis, Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Arthur Walker Case, Jr. and one sister, Marie Case Davis. A celebration of Niki?s life and faith will be held Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in Diuguid Waterlick Chapel with the Rev. Larry Davies and Rev. Dr. Tom Bryant officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
