Obituary of Harold Harrison

Harold Randolph Harrison, 84, of Lynchburg, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2009, in Medical Care Center. He was the husband of Ethel Kalin Harrison of 57 years. Born December 2, 1925 in Lynchburg, he was a son of the late Ernest and Clara Hackett Harrison. Mr. Harrison was retired from Lynchburg Foundry and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in WW-II. In addition to his wife , Ethel, he is survived by one sister-in-law, Dorothy Harrison and a number of nieces and nephews, he was preceded in death by a son Harold Randolph Harrison, Jr. and two brothers, Ralph Harrison and Bobby Harrison and two sisters, Virginia Price and Thelma Dooley. A mass of resurrection will be held Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 11:00a.m. at Holy Cross Church with the Monsignor Father Kenneth Rush officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8- p.m. at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery with military honors provided by Lynchburg American Legion-Post 16.
