Obituary of Grace Walthall

Grace Gaddy Walthall, 82, of Lynchburg passed away peacefully Friday, February 19, 2010 at her home. She was the widow of the late Lloyd Guy ?Jack? Walthall. Twice widowed, her first husband was the late Robert Edwin Walthall. Born May 27, 1928 in Hurt she was a daughter of the late Reid Jacob Gaddy and the late India Bralley Harvey. She was a member of Marsh Memorial United Methodist Church. In addition to her husbands, parents and four brothers she was preceded in death by her son, Steven Gaddy Walthall and grandson, Steven Gaddy Walthall, II. She is survived by three children, Richard Edwin Walthall, Lloyd G. Walthall and wife Shirley and Sharon W. Gilliam all of Lynchburg; three sisters, Nancy G. Clements of Long Island, Pat G. Hudgins of Williamsburg and Peggy G. Kirkpatrick of Arvada, CO and four grandchildren, India Nicole Nichols, Lloyd Jason Walthall both of Huddleston, William Lloyd Walthall of Moyhok, NC and Cameron Michael Gilliam of St. Petersburg, FL. A celebration of Grace?s life and faith will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel with the Rev. Julie Flores officiating.
