Obituary of Ernest Ballagh

Ernest Lynn ?Ernie? Ballagh, Jr. Ernest Lynn Ballagh, 69, of Forest passed away Saturday, March 27, 2010 in Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Debra Ann Williams Ballagh. Born April 9, 1940 in Lynchburg he was the son of the late Ernest Linwood and Iva Allen Ballagh. He was a US Air Force Veteran, a retired employee of the Andrew Corporation and was a member of the Brushy Mountain Gun Club. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Tracy Hamilton Ballagh. He is survived by two daughters, Kelly Ballagh Smith of Richmond and Amber Marie Ballagh of Lynchburg and his granddaughter, Ava Smith. A celebration of Ernie?s Life will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel with Pastor Carl Weiser and Pastor David Heerspink. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends today, Monday at the funeral home from 6:30-8:30pm.
