Obituary of Josephine Goff

Josephine Marguerite Goff, 82, of Forest passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at her residence. Born in Itman, W.Va. on April 23, 1928 she was a daughter of the late James Robert Pruett and Lena Mullins Pruett and was the wife of 45 years to her late beloved husband, Garland L. Goff, Sr. Mrs. Goff worked at the Bluefield Telephone company for11 years before starting her family. She was also a member of Tree of Life Ministries. Marguerite is survived by three daughters, Maretha K. Goff of Lynchburg, Maria G. Goff of Charlottesville and Melissa R. Goff of Forest. One son, Garland Lee Goff, Jr. and his wife, Shirley of Big Island. Three Grandchildren, Michael Jason Dorman and his fiancé Meghan C. Mooney, Devin Linwood Brueck and Tembrook Lee Goff. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Marguerite?s Life and Faith will be held 2:00 PM Friday, May 7, 2010 at Virginia Memorial Park with Pastor Mac Almond, Jr. of Living Water Ministries and Pastor Mike Dodson of Tree of Life Ministries officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel located on Timberlake Rd.
