Obituary of Mary Harvey

Mary Bell Harvey Mary Bell Harvey, 95, passed away on Friday, June 11th, 2010 in Virginia Baptist Hospital. Born May 13, 1915 in Campbell County she was a daughter of the late Robert Kelty Bell and Marion Garbee Bell. She was proceeded in death by her husband James Holcomb Harvey and daughter Mary Geneva Harvey. She is survived by two sons, James Kelty Harvey and wife Charlotte of Riner, and Edward Holmes Harvey and wife Ada of Somerset, a grandson Gary Edward Harvey and wife Sharon, of Lynchburg, a granddaughter Rhonda Harvey Kopitzke and husband Kevin of Roanoke, three great granddaughters, Breanna, Tory, and Megan as well as nieces and nephews, her sister Peggy Mays and husband James and sister in law Louise Bell, all of Lynchburg. She had a full life caring for her family and friends and retired from Craddock Terry Shoe Corporation after more than 25 years. The family would like to give special thanks to the Staff at Valley View Retirement Community, her home for the last 14 years of her life. A celebration of Mary?s life and faith will be held 11:00 AM Monday, June 14, 2010 at Rivermont Avenue Baptist Church. Interment will follow in White?s United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Diuguid Wiggington Chapel Sunday from 5-7:00 pm.
