Obituary of Robert Darrell

Robert ? Bob? Darrell Rew, 71, of Forest passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born in Baltimore, Md. on August 13, 1938 he was a son of the late James Harry Rew and Katherine Byrnes Rew and was the loving husband of Gail E. Rew. Mr. Rew served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church. In addition to his wife he is survived by five children, Mary Willard and her husband, Bill of Connowingo, MD., Sherry Dolan and her husband, James of Forest, Craig Brown and his wife, Margie of Pasadena, Md., Terry Rew and Robert Rew, Jr. Eight Grandchildren. A sister, Gloria Rew. Three brothers, Tom Rew, Roger Rew and George Rew all of Maryland. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 PM Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Diuguid Wiggington Chapel, 811 Wiggington Rd., 385-8900.
