Obituary of Margaret Mays

Margaret Elizabeth Mays, 78, of Lynchburg passed away Monday, August 9, 2010 at the Medical Care Center. Born in Virginia on July 14, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Bessie Viar Mays. Margaret was retired from Buckingham Flippin and was a member of Rivermont Avenue Baptist Church. She is survived by two uncles, William R. Viar and Charles E. Viar both of Lynchburg. She was preceded in death by an aunt, Mamie V. Holdren. A Celebration of Margaret's Life and Faith will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Spring Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Nick Habel officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 PM today, August 11, 2010 at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel, 237-2722.
