Obituary of Mable Justice

Mable Gilliam Justice, 82, of Lynchburg, passed away, Friday, August 20, 2010 in the Summit Health and Rehab Center. She was the wife of the late Randolph Justice. Born November 11, 1927 in Pikeville, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Elster and Vernie Pinson Gilliam. She was retired from Pikeville Medical Center where she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a member of King of King?s Free Will Baptist Church in New London. She is survived by two daughters, Roberta Franklin and her husband, Earl, of Forest and Patsy Phillips and her husband, Glen, of Dandridge, TN; two sons, Scott Justice and his wife, Rebecca of Cleveland, OH and Bobby James and his wife, Sondra, of Hager Hill, KY; two sisters, Barbara Wright and her husband, John, of Lynchburg and Brenda Hite and her husband, Tommy, of Pikeville, KY; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff of The Summit Garden for their exceptional and loving care given to Mrs. Justice. A celebration of Mable?s life and faith will be held Monday, August 23, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel with the Rev. Phil Stevens officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3-5 PM at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Fort Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
