Obituary of Carl Weber

Carl Jeffrey Weber, 46, of Forest, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2010. He was the loving and devoted husband of Cathy Watson Weber. He was born in Morristown, NJ. His mother was Gioia Caprio Weber of Morristown, NJ and his father and step-mother were Rev. John G. and Pauline Weber of East Windsor, NJ. In addition to his wife and parents, Carl is survived by his sister, Cheryl Weber and her friend, Mike Sterling, both of Fairbanks, AK. Three step-siblings, Susan Schmidt and her husband James of CA, Mary Discuilio and Joseph Taraska and his wife, Cheryl of TN. Mother-in-law, Leslie S. Watson. Two brothers-in-law, Mike Watson and his wife Dinah of Appomattox and Guy Watson, Jr. of Emerald Isle, NC. Carl is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Carl was an Electrical Engineer with Areva and served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He attended and served with Blue Ridge Community Church. He also did missions work in Africa. Carl was a wonderful husband who was full of love-- love for his Lord, his wife, and his family, and love of flying, acting and laughter. And those who knew him well loved him too. They enjoyed his sense of humor and appreciated his genuine kindness. His legacy will live on because of the impact he had on the many lives he touched. Carl will be desperately missed but never forgotten--even by his loyal dogs, Maggie and Titan. The family would like to thank all of Carl?s friends and family and the people of Blue Ridge Community Church for their amazing love and support. Special thanks are extended to Bill and Marilee Earle and Mike and Pam Ross for their friendship, love and support. A celebration of Carl?s life and faith will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Blue Ridge Community Church with Pastor Woody Torrence officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Community Church, and/or to the Tibetan Trust Home.
