Obituary of Julia Maybee

Julia Navarro Maybee, 63, of Lynchburg passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born in Miami, Fl. on October 4, 1946 she was the daughter of the late Ellagene Barr Navarro and was the wife of Curtis Edwin Maybee. Mrs. Maybee was a Teacher at the National Business College and was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, Julia is survived by two sons, Matthew Edwin Maybee and his wife, Catherine of Philadelphia, PA. and Walter Darren Maybee and his wife, Carmen on Lynchburg. A grandson, Luke Darren Maybee. Julia is also survived by her two beloved Boston Terriers, Lala and Babee. A Celebration of Julia?s Life and Faith will be held 2:30 PM Friday, September 3, 2010 at Fort Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Dave Heerspink officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 PM today, September 2, 2010 at Diuguid Wiggington Chapel, 811 Wiggington Rd., 385-8900.
