Obituary of Nell Paine

Nell Clair Blanks Paine, of Cincinnati and formally of Lynchburg passed away Saturday, February 26, 2011 in Cincinnati. Born in Cody, Va. She was a daughter of the late Littleton Gardner Blanks and Emma Thornton Taylor Blanks and was the beloved wife of the late John A. Paine. Mrs. Paine was a member of Fort Hill United Methodist Church. She is survived by a son, Mark R. Paine and his wife, Linda of Cincinnati. A brother, Gardner Blanks and his wife, Martha of Lynchburg. She was preceded in death by, John a Paine, Jr., Emily Paine and Mildred Lee. A Celebration of Nell?s Life and Faith will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel with the Rev. Dan Mason officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 9 to 11 AM Saturday at the Funeral Home. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Fort Hill United Methodist Church, 106 Oakridge Blvd, Lynchburg, VA. 24502.
