Obituary of Louise Brooks

Elnora Louise Bower Brooks, 77, of Forest passed away Friday, March 18, 2011 at her residence. Born in Botetourt County, Va. on April 18, 1933 she was a daughter of the late Ralph Owen Bower and Maude Clinbell Bower and was the loving and caring wife of William Brooks. Mrs. Brooks was retired from Morton Manufacturing Co. and was a member of Heritage United Methodist Church and a former member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church. In addition to her husband, Louise is survived by a son, Barry Wayne Brooks and his wife, Susan of Lynchburg. Two grandchildren, Amanda Shea Brooks and Dustin Wayne Brooks. A brother, Dennis Bower of Lynchburg. Three sisters, Marie Miear of Forest. Mae Webber of Forest and Elouise Floyd of Lynchburg. A Celebration of Louise?s Life and Faith will be held 2:00 PM Monday, March 21, 2011 at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel with the Rev. Riley Smith and the Rev. Alan Combs officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel.
