Obituary of Dorothy Cushman

DOROTHY PATTERSON CUSHMAN Dorothy Patterson Cushman, 96, of Lynchburg and formally of New York and New Jersey passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska on August 8, 1914 she was a daughter of the late Mark Patterson and Roxa Howard Patterson and was the widow of Donald Royal Cushman. Mrs. Cushman was a member of Memorial Presbyterian Church in Wynona, NJ. and along with her husband was a volunteer at Poplar Forest. She is survived by a son, Gary E. Cushman of Pennsauken, NJ. A daughter, Judith A. Cushman of Lynchburg. A brother, Thomas Mark Patterson of Lynchburg. A sister, Helen Lindsey of upstate, NY. A nephew, Rev. Timothy Patterson. Three nieces, Laurie Patterson, Beth Novak and Martha Wiseman. A Celebration of Dorothy?s Life and Faith will be held at a later date.
