Obituary of Minnie Huderwitz

MINNIE STEVENS HUDERWITZ Minnie Stevens Huderwitz, 80, of Lynchburg passed away Friday, June 3, 2011 at Medical Care Center. Born in Virginia on July 1, 1930 she was a daughter of the late Daniel C. Stevens and Vonnie A. Ashwell Stevens and was the widow of John Huderwitz. Mrs. Huderwitz was a retired seamstress and a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She is survived by four sons, Eddie Thomas Crawford and his wife, Glenda of Bedford, Ronnie W. Crawford of Bedford, Lawrence E. Crawford of Lynchburg and Len Henry Burns and his wife, Geraldine of Lynchburg and six grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters. A Celebration of Minnie?s Life will be held 3:30 PM Monday, June 6, 2011 at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel with Father Richard Mooney officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday, June 5, 2011 at the funeral home.
