Obituary of Helen Wiley

Helen Miles Wiley, 72 of Lynchburg, died Saturday August 27, 2011 at The Summit. She was the widow of John Davis Wiley. Born in Lynchburg, April 1, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Emery M. and Katherine Elizabeth Wright Miles. Mrs. Wiley is survived by two sons; Ron Davis Wiley and his wife Jamie Davis Wiley, of Greensboro, Kenneth Randall Wiley and his wife Ellen Ferguson, of Forest; one daughter, Sharon Wiley Kazebee of Kannapolis, NC; and four grandchildren, Aaron Jason Wiley, Ariel Renee Wiley, David Dakota ?Kody? Kazebee and Kyle Davis Kazebee. Six brothers and sisters, Garland Miles, Iris Watts, Pat Wilson, Larry Miles, George Miles and Nancy Graham. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Miles. The Rev. Chris Barrett and Rev. Anne Gibbons will hold a funeral service Wed. Aug. 31, 2011 at 11:00 am at Diuguid Wiggington Chapel. Burial will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends today, August 30, 2011 from 6 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
