Obituary of Essie Paulett

Essie Bumgarner Paulett, 92, of Lynchburg, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at her residence. She was the wife of the late John Marvin Paulett. Born February 7, 1919 in Watauga County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Christopher Alexander and Rebecca Grogan Bumgarner. She was a member of Living Word Baptist Church. She is survived by three brothers, Maynard Olan Bumgarner (Ethel), James Simon Bumgarner (Marilyn) and Abner Bumgarner, all of Lynchburg; two sisters, Pansy B. Porter of Forest and Rebecca Mae Owen of Bedford; numerous nieces ,nephews and great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Friday, October 28, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Virginia Memorial Park with Pastor Marvin Suitt officiating. The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8 PM at the Diuguid Waterlick Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Living Word Baptist Church, 4130 Waterlick Rd., Lynchburg, VA, 24502.
