Obituary of Gloria Crank Firkin

Gloria Jean Crank Firkin, 67, of Rustburg passed away Monday, October 31, 2011 at her residence. Born in Lynchburg on May 8, 1944 she was a daughter of the late Roy Firkin and Margaret Wilson Fisher and was the mother of the late Mark Crank. Mrs. Firkin was a member of Rustburg Baptist Church. She is survived by her former husband, Lawrence Crank, Sr. of Rustburg. Two sons, Lawrence Crank, Jr. and Rodney Crank both of Rustburg. A daughter, Teresa Collins of Evington. Twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A Celebration of Gloria?s Life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Rustburg Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick Cole officiating. Interment will follow in the Cumbie Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 PM. Saturday at the church.
