Obituary of Donald King

Donald Gene King,75, of Lynchburg passed away Monday, November 14, 2011 at his residence. Born in Charleston, W.VA. On November 14, 1936 he was a son of the late Arvel King and Judy Anderson King and was the loving husband of Linda L. King. Mr. King served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a retired Aerospace Engineer with Martin Marietta Aerospace Company and was a member of Timberlake Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Melody Sue Wallace and her husband, Edward of West Branch, Iowa, Angela A. Orians and her husband, Isaac of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, Kimberly Dawn Kolodziej and her husband, Jeff of Forest and Valerie King Porter and her husband, John of Lynchburg. Fourteen grandchildren, Julia Dawn Watson, Seth Ryan Kinley and his wife, Alyson, Christopher Ian Wallace and his wife, Jacqueline, Kirsten Laurelle McNutt and her husband, A.J., Jordan Michelle King Wooldridge and her husband, Jeremy, William Matthew Speight, Nathan William Wallace, Lauren Taylor Kinley, Brittany Lynn King, Bradley Allen Speight, Jared Michael King, Leah King Porter, Taylor Anna Elizabeth Porter and John Riley Porter. Five great grandchildren, Leah Rae Kinley, Noah Braeden King Wooldridge, Sienna Grace Kinley, Keegan James McNutt and Carter Edward Randall Wallace. Two brothers, Denver King of Louisiana and Bob King of Florida. A sister, Betty Elkins of West Va. He was preceded in death by a brother, Denny King and a sister, Violet Barker. A Celebration of Donald?s Life and his Faith will be held 11:00 AM Friday, November 18, 2011 in the Worship Center at Timberlake Baptist Church with Pastor Bryan Ferrell and Pastor James Alley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel.
