Obituary of David Justis

David Lee Justis, Sr., 80, of Forest passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011 at his residence. Born in Lynchburg on April 15, 1931 he was a son of the late Edward Justis and Lois Staples Justis and was the widower of Gail Minnett Justis. Mr. Justis served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. He was a graduate of Lynchburg College and was retired from Ericson G.E. He is survived by his son, David Lee Justis, Jr. and his wife, Heidi Kee of Franklin, TN. A daughter, Stephanie J. England and her husband, William of Forest. A brother, Stephen Justis of Forest. Six grandchildren, Becky England, Tina Wall, Sarah Johnson, Charles England, Katie Justis and Allie Justis. One great grandson, Bryan Johnson. A Celebration of David?s Life will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Spring Hill Cemetery with the Rev. C. Douglas Pillow officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 PM Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Diuguid Wiggington Chapel.
