Obituary of Elouise Crouch

Elouise ?Emily? Crowe Crouch, 83, of Lynchburg, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011, at The Carrington Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Arthur L. Crouch. Born April 22, 1928, in Petersburg, VA she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and James Maude Drummond Crowe. She was a retired operator from CONTEL Telephone Company and a member of Timberlake Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Woodbridge. ?Emily? loved music , singing , her animals, friends and especially loved and cared for her family deeply. She is survived by two daughters, Robbie C. Shaner and her husband, Clarence, of Madison Heights and Tammy K. Crouch of Springfield , VA; two sons, Alan L. Crouch and his wife, Darnell, of Bowling Green, VA and Jeffrey L. Crouch and his wife, Susan, of Fredericksburg, VA; one brother, Wilkins Dawson of Rocky Mount, VA; five grandchildren, Alison S. Adams (Kevin), Arthur Lewis Crouch (Missy) Annette M. Shaner, Alexander Scott Crouch and Joseph Lloyd Crouch; five great-grandchildren, Lauren Renae Crouch, Alexander William Crouch and Kayla Michelle Adams, Benjamin Riley Crouch and Molly Elizabeth Crouch. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Dawson and Robert DeWitt. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at 1:00 PM at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel with the Rev. Dan G. Mason officiating. The family will receive friends tonight from 7-9 PM at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel. Interment will be in Fort Hill Memorial Park Diuguid Funeral Service and Crematory, Waterlick Chapel, 237-2722 in charge of arrangements.
