Obituary of Christopher Gordon

Christopher Paul Gordon, 26, of Trophy Club, Texas passed away Friday, February 3, 2012 in Baylor University Hospital, Dallas, TX. Born December 30, 1985 in Plattsburgh, NY, he was the son of Harry Thomas Gordon of Texas and Courtney Batts Gordon Middleton of Lynchburg. Christopher loved life to the fullest. He enjoyed motorcycling, snowboarding, airplanes, kayaking and boating. He was also a Boston Pops fan and loved to travel. Chris attended Liberty University. In addition to his parents, he is survived by several aunts and uncles, Kendall Levin, Anne Wojikowski, Judson and Helen Batts, John Gordon, Don Gordon, Laura Beardsley and Dianne Cardennas, Ethel Middleton, William Middleton, Jr. and Emily Hennessey and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harry and Eleanor Gordon, his maternal grandparents, Albert Edwin Batts, Jr. and Doris Kent. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church, Lynchburg, with the Rev. Dan G. Mason officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
