Obituary of Helen Hudson

Helen Florence Lowe Hudson, 86, of Evington, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012 at her home. Born August 12, 1925 in Cripple Creek, VA, she was the daughter of the late Carlie M. Lowe and Mary Adams Lowe. Helen retired from General Electric after 28 years of service. She is survived by her husband, Reginald Hudson; a brother, Carlie M. ?June? Lowe, Jr. and his wife Glenda of Cripple Creek, VA; a stepson, Joe Hudson and his wife Rose of Mt. Olive, NC; a step daughter Mary Allen Hudson of O?Berry Center, Goldsboro, NC; a brother- in-law, Arlen Hudson and his wife Treva of Forest. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a step-grandson, Eric Hudson, a brother Homer Lowe, sisters Gladys Byrd, Thelma King, Ressie Dowling, Artie Funk and a special niece Penny Rosenbaum. A graveside service will be held Monday, May 14, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Fort Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Dan G. Mason officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
