ALICE FAYE ISAACS GREENE Alice Faye Isaacs Greene, 61, of Lynchburg passed away Monday, May 14, 2012 at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born in Lynchburg on September 29, 1950 she was a daughter of the late William Franklin Isaacs, Jr. and Annie Louise Tanner Isaacs and was the wife of Jessie James Greene, Sr. She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Dalgo and her husband, Ronnie of NC. and Sandi Hartman and her husband, Keith of Lynchburg. A stepson, Jessie James ?Jay? Greene,Jr. and girlfriend, Kathy Mays. Grandchildren, Torrie Myrel and Maya Leigh Dalgo of NC. Dustin, Kassie and angel, Bobby Lee Hartman of Lynchburg, Kristen, Matthew and Steven Greene of Lynchburg. Great grandchildren, Braylee Hartman and Peighten ?Grace? and Grace Greene. Two brothers, Stuart Isaacs and wife, Rachael, Author Willard Isaacs and wife, Sandra and their children. Special aunts and uncles, Raymond Isaacs and wife, Mildred and Margaret Jackson. Special fiends, David and Vickie Higginbotham and family, Wayne and Jackie Hartman and Family. Mrs. Greene was a member of Living Word Baptist Church. Our beautiful Nana, was a mother, grandmother and friend to many and many loved her, she will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Marian Louise Isaacs Greene and Vivian Wayne Isaacs. A Celebration of Alice?s Life and Faith will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel, Timberlake Rd., with Pastor Marvin Suitt officiating. Interment will follow in Virginia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 PM today, May 16, 2012 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please contribute in Alice?s name to St. Jude?s Children?s Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. or to the American Cancer Society. The family also suggests that you please consider organ donations, a cause that was close to Alice?s heart.
