Obituary of Elizabeth Thompson

Elizabeth Daniel Thompson, 90, of Lynchburg, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Medical Care Center. She was the wife of the late Edward Arthur Thompson. Born December 1, 1921 in Gladys, VA, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin William Daniel and Flora Marshall Daniel. She was retired from Miller & Rhodes and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Becky T. Pollard and her husband , Henry, of Amherst, VA; two sisters, Rachael D. Clark of Brookneal and Louise R. Daniel of Lynchburg; three grandchildren, Amy Lynn Pollard, Angela Moore Pollard and Bryan Michael Pollard; a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Fort Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Dr. Ricky Ewing officiating. The family will receive friends prior to service from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
