Obituary of Bille Jennings

Billie Martin Jennings, 96, of Lynchburg, passed away Friday, July 27, 2012 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Clark Jennings, Jr. and a daughter, Elizabeth J. Magri. She was born December 6, 1915 in Jonesboro, Tennessee. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church. She was also a member of Lynchburg Woman?s Club. She is survived by one son, Floyd Clark Jennings, III and his wife, Barbara, of Midlothian , VA; one daughter, Kathleen Jennings Drake and her husband, Carl, of Hampton, VA; five grandchildren, Dr. James J. Magri, Teresa Sullivan, Lisa M. Schneider, Stacy L. Jennings and Clark Barrett Jennings; 11 great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emily Louisa, Jem and Daniel Schneider, Jenna and Jack Magri, Trey and Trent Sullivan, Chase and Catherine Jennings. A private entombment service will be held Monday, July 30, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Virginia Memorial Park with the Rev. Dan G. Mason officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 PM at Diuguid Wiggington Road Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Harmony Animal Rescue, 5292 Brown Mill Rd., Rustburg, VA 24588.
