Obituary of Nancy Stamper Martin

Nancy Loretta Stamper Martin, 63, of Lynchburg passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born in Roanoke on October 13, 1948 she was a daughter of Lucille Honaker Stamper of Lynchburg and the late Cecil Eugene Stamper and was the widow of Gary Van Martin. Mrs. Martin was retired from Kroger?s and attended Hyland Heights Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Joey Quinn, Jr. and his wife, Aimee of Richmond. A daughter, Cindy Quinn Mobley and her husband, Scotty of Lynchburg. A step-daughter, Kristy M. Bertz of Maryland. Seven grandchildren, Summer Quinn, Jessica Mobley, Grace Mobley, Ashton Miano, Noah Mobley, Keira Quinn and Kenzie Quinn. Two step-grandchildren, Luke H. Bertz and Tyler Anderson. A brother, Larry Stamper and his wife, Karen of Bedford. A sister, Pat Braswell and her daughter, Kari Braswell. She is also survived by Fran Lewis, BFF. A Celebration of Nancy?s Life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August, 11, 2012 at Virginia Memorial Park with Pastor Carl Weiser officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday, August 10, 2012 at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel.
