Obituary of Faye Evers

Faye Day Evers, 74, of Forest passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012 at VCU Medical Center in Richmond. Born in Lynchburg on June 8, 1938 she was a daughter of the late Andrew Washington Day and Madeline Gibson Day and was the widow of Nelson P. Evers. Mrs. Evers was a retired Deputy Clerk for the Lynchburg Commissioner of Revenue. She is survived by two daughters, Vicky Evers Gaddy and her husband, Randy of Bedford and Mary Evers Mason and her fiancé, Jonathan Wingfield of Louisa . Six grandchildren, Rob Gaddy, B.J. Gaddy, Tiffany Gaddy and her fiancé, Carter Fulcher, Tabitha Gaddy,Christy Gaddy and Gary Mason. A great granddaughter, Lily Reynolds. A brother, Danny Day and his wife, Bonnie of Lynchburg. A sister Robin Durham and her husband, Wayne of Forest. She is also survived by a niece, April Branham and her husband, Jeremy. A Celebration of Faye?s Life and Faith will be held 10:00 AM Friday, September 7, 2012 at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel with the Reverend Dwight Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM Thursday at the funeral home. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Langhorne Chapel Community Church, 15777 Leesville Rd., Evington, VA. 24550 or to Hospital Hospitality House of Richmond, 612 E. Marshall St., Richmond, VA. 23219-1846.
