Obituary of Frances Raine

Frances Jamerson Raine, 96, of Lynchburg passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Drinkard Health Center. Born in Paplin, Va. On May 8, 1916 she was a daughter of the late Bryant Thomas Jamerson and Nannie Elizabeth Garrett Jamerson and was the widow of Thomas Chalmers Raine, Jr. Mrs. Raine was a retired school teacher. She is survived by two sons, Thomas Chalmers Raine, III and his wife, Stephanie of Berryville, VA. and Edward Jamerson Raine and his wife, Michele of Maryland. A daughter, Nancy Venable Raine and her husband, Stephen Stevick of Bedford. Four grandchildren, Aimee Carlesi, Christopher Thomas Raine, Elizabeth Perry Stevick and Sayre Ellis Stevick Schwartz. Three great grandchildren, Sawyer Mackenzie Carlesi, Lia Brennan Carlesi and Noah Raine. A Celebration of Frances? Life will be held 1:30 PM Monday, September 24, 2012 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Fairfax Station, Va. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
