Obituary of Suzette Quel

Suzette Jean Wright Quel, 45, of Forest, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012 at her home. She was the wife of Robert Samuel Quel. Born December 2, 1967 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of Wayne and Patricia Wright. Suzette was a special education teacher for the Lynchburg School System at E.C. Glass High School. She was a graduate of James Madison University and a member of Freedom Baptist Church where she taught youth Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She also participated in many church mission trips. In addition to her parents and husband, Suzette is survived by one son, Robert Nicholas ?Bo? Quel; two daughters, Miranda Price Quel and Faith Foster Quel, all of Forest; two brothers, Kenneth ?Kenny? Wayne Wright, Jr. and his wife, Sherry, of Buena Vista, Neal Nicholas Wright of Lynchburg; her mother and father in-law, Robert Charles and Carol Price Quel of Monroeville, PA. A celebration of Suzette?s life and faith will be held Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 6:00 PM at Freedom Baptist Church (1595 Turkey Foot Rd.) with the Rev. John Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately after the service at the church. Burial will be on Friday, September 5, 2012 at 10:00 AM in Virginia Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Quel Children?s College Scholarship Fund at any BB&T Bank. Diuguid Funeral Service & Crematory-Waterlick Chapel, 237-2722, is serving the family.
