Obituary of Esther Weiringo

Esther Kay Weiringo, 79, of Richmond passed away Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Halifax Regional Hospital in South Boston. Born in Franklin County on February 1, 1933 she was a daughter of the late Alfred Max Wieringo and Mildred Dyer Wieringo. Esther was retired from the Prudential Life Insurance Co. She is survived by two brothers, Cecil E. Wieringo and his wife, Shirley of Rustburg and Richard A. Wieringo of Lynchburg. Two sisters, Marianne W. Canady and her husband, James of Goode and Freda Overstreet. A sister-in-law, Eunice Wieringo and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Julius Wieringo. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel on Timberlake Rd. A private interment will take place in the Pearson Memorial Cemetery in Franklin County at a later date.
