Hey Val,
It's your sister-in-Christ whom you haven't seen in like, forever! Though we didn't get to see each other for many years, you have always been in my heart and mind! At one time, it was you, me, Barbara Hancock and Laurie Midkiff who were taking on the world! You opened your home and your heart to me and my children. My son still has never forgotten when you baptized him in your little pool!
I returned to the Gretna area about 3 years ago and have been trying to find you. Well, I finally found you!
I wanted you to know how much I love you and we will see each other again! I love you and you will be greatly missed. You are an awesome woman and now you get to party with the King! xoxoxox

Mike,
We have been and will be praying for you and your family. I know this has been a very stress full and heart breaking situation. I also know that Valery is now at peace and is a heavenly advocate for you and the kids, and for all of us. The heart break and tears will be for not. As we know, having a relationship with Jesus is supposed to comfort us through the understanding that he is in control. The human side of us seems to feel all the pain. Mike I am heart fully sorry for your loss and don?t know what I can do to help, so I will keep praying.
Isaiah 41:10
Have no fear for I am with you. Be not afraid for I am your God. I shall strengthen you and give you help. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.
Peace, Love you Bro. Martin

Although everyone knows you are in a much more glorious place now, there are no words to express how sorry I am that your time here on Earth was so short. In high school I knew you well through sweet Ashley and more recently through my friendship with your wonderful daughter Tara. Everytime I had the chance to talk to you I would walk away with such a feeling of warmth and joy because you radiated kindness & strength, and God's love was shining through you so brightly. Everytime I spoke with Tara about you, I was inspired by how you handled your journey with so much grace and strength, while giving glory to our precious heavenly Father even in the hardest of times. You were an amazing, beautiful woman and it was an honor to know you. Love to your family & I am praying for the sweet Lord to cover you all with comfort only He can provide. (Love you Tara & Ash

Mom,
There are no words to describe the pain that all of us are in. To America you were a patriot and hero. To some you were a daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend. But I know that the things that you wanted to be remembered by was your role as a mother/wife and your love for the Lord. You have had such a huge impact on all of us kids and because of you we are all here and we would not be who we are with out you. I know that Dad is the man he is beacause of you as well. You have played such an instrumental role in our lives. You have always encouraged us in our relationship with the Lord and have been such an example of a Godly woman. I know that you are in a better place and I look forward to the day when we all see you again. I love you so much.

My dearest friend, It has taken me several days to process that you are gone from us here on earth. I have cried a million tears over you and smiled a million smiles remembering all the good times. We raised our kids together, dragged all our stuff to the beach on so many numerous occasions, day trips to VA Beach to shop at Sam's, cried together, prayed together, ate together, laughted together. You were there for my son's birth with that crazy contraption on your arm when you broke it and took birth pictures I can show no one to this day! I loved your laugh and I can see you now, whole and healthy with that beautiful smile and infectious laugh just in awe of heaven and being in the precence of the Lord as he tells you "Job well done, my good and faithful servant". I love you Valerie and I it will be my joy to see you greeting me at the gates of heaven one day.
Mike,Tara, Michael, Ashely, Cody, Chris and Hope, you had an extrordinary wife and mother. Her legacy will carry on through all of you. You are in my thoughts and prayers and I love you all very much. Kathy

To have had God blessed me with such a friend as Valerie. To have had the privilege to laugh and cry at each other kitchen tables, so many times. To have had the privilege to pray and bring our husbands, children, families, and friends before the Lord together and then seeing the Lord honor those prayers and work them out in His way, will be so remembered and missed. We grew in faith together, grew in our love respect without judgment. No greater friend have I had. So loved, so beautiful in so many ways, it has been a great honor to have had her in my life.
