Obituary of Walter Wilson

Walter C. Wilson, 92, of Lynchburg, VA, died on Saturday, February 2, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife Sallie E. Wilson of Lynchburg and a daughter Margaret E. Wilson of Baltimore, MD. He is survived by one sister, three brothers, two daughters, Peggy W. Watson of Lynchburg, VA and Pearl W. Watson of Baltimore, MD, a beloved and devoted son-in-law, Preston L. Watson, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2013 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at Diuguid Wiggington Road Chapel, 811 Wiggington Road, Lynchburg, VA 24502. A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 7 at 11:00 am at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 58 Town Fork Road, Evington, VA 24550 with Rev. Raymond Payne officiating. Interment will be at the church cemetery.
