Obituary of Elizabeth Lippard

Elizabeth ?Betty? Capel Lippard, 79, of Forest passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Heritage Green Day Break. Born in Rockingham, NC on January 16, 1934 she was a daughter of the late Joseph Wyatt Capel and Lila Mae Long Capel and was the widow of John Henderson Lippard, Jr. Mrs. Lippard was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. She is survived by three sons, Stephen E. Lippard and his wife, Michelle of Forest, Daniel W. Lippard of Charlotte, NC and Michael Scott Lippard of York, PA. Eight grandchildren, Skyler R. Lippard, Searra Lippard, Savanna Lippard, Jacob Lippard, Anna Lippard, Colton Vlahos, Walker Vlahos and Lexie Vlahos. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, John H. Lippard, III. A Celebration of Betty?s Life will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Virginia Memorial Park with Pastor Charles B. ?Chuck? Willoughby officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, February 15, 2013 from 6 to 8 PM at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel.
