Obituary of Clifton Sink

Clifton Raymond Sink, 79, of Forest died Saturday March 2, 2013. He was the husband of Madeline Glass Sink for more than 60 years. He was born December 12, 1933 in Franklin County, a son of the late Thelma Newman Sink and Raymond B. Sink. He was a member of Pisgah Presbyterian Church and retired from the U.S. Postal Service, and was a U.S. Army veteran. In addition to his wife he is survived by his sister; Margaret S. Schley and her husband Billy W. Schley of Lynchburg; two nieces Anita Siegenthaler and husband Fred, of Forest, Rebecca (Becky) Ogden and husband Kevin of Huddleston; two great nephews Gabriel Siegenthaler and J.T. Ogden; two great nieces, Autumn Siegenthaler and Jenna Addison Ogden. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM, at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel by Rev. Dr. Ricky Ewing and Rev. George Hatmaker. Burial will follow at Pisgah Presbyterian Church Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society or a charity of your choice. Diuguid Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Waterlick Chapel (237-2722) is serving the family.
