Obituary of Barbara Metz Hartless

Barbara Ann Metz Hartless, 77, of Forest, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at her home after a long illness. Born October 28, 1937 in Roanoke, she was the daughter of the late Annie Altice Curd. She was of the Presbyterian Faith. She was a waitress at the former "Southerner Restaurant" in Lynchburg. She is survived by two daughters, Vicky Harris and her husband, David and Donna Lange and her husband, Tom, all of Rustburg; two grandsons, Andrew and Matt Lange also of Rustburg. She was pre-deceased by a son, Robley Dean Loving, Jr. and a brother, Lewis Forrest Metz, Jr. There will be a private service for the family. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 Pm at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Campbell County Humane Society, P.O. Box 659., Rustburg, VA, 24588.
