Obituary of Allen H. Miear

Allen Hampton "Buck" Miear Allen Hampton"Buck" Miear, 80, of Forest died Tuesday, December 04, 2007 at his home. He was the husband of Marie D."Kitty"Miear for 59 years. Born Sept. 9, 1927 in Campbell County he was a son of Lenes Marsh Miear and Hammond Miear. He was retired as a self-employed carpenter. Allen was preceded in death by his three brothers, Ernest, Rudolph and Bruce Miear; two sisters, Dorothy Miear and Eula Witt and his stepson Cecil Litchford. In addition to his wife, Allen is survived by his son Ronnie Miear and wife Shirley of Forest; and six sisters, Jean M. Mason of Evington, Rebecca M. Lacy of Lynchburg, Edith M. Tyree of Forest, Erma M. Coleman of Goode, Geneva M. Maddox of Lynchburg and Linda M. Pulliam of Goode. In addition he is survived by three grandchildren, Sarah Miear, Patricia Litchford and Chrystal Litchford and a daughter in law, Ruth Litchford A Graveside service will be held Thursday, Dec. 6th at 1:00 pm in Virginia Memorial Park.
