Obituary of Eunice Forlines
Eunice Leigh Blanks Forlines of Forest died Friday, February 15, 2008 in Lynchburg
General Hospital
after loosing her battle with cancer.She was the wife of the late Wallace
Wilkins Forlines.
Born June 29, 1929
in Lynchburg she was a daughter of
the late Edwin Blanks and Lena Moyer Blanks Patterson. Eunice was vocalist with
the "Big Band" The Vagabonds in the 1950's and was retired owner of Timberlake
Hair Salon. She was an active member of Holy
Trinity Lutheran
Church.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in
death by her son Robert James Duff; her sister, Phyllis B. Tomlin and half
sister, Ruth Blanks Deal. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra D. Burns and
Tina Guilbert Snyder and husband Jerome; an adopted "special child" Amanda E.
Forlines; a step daughter, Cynthia Forlines Lane;
grandchildren, Kenneth Burns, Jr., Ahley Burns and wife Tracey, Cami Burns Wirt
and husband Carlton, Susan Burns Rusher and husband Jeremy, Emily R. Hubbard
and Brian M. Ore; a half sister, Martha Blanks; a special friend Sylvia Porter
and five great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Monday 11:30 am in the mausoleum chapel at Fort
Hill Memorial Park
with the Rev. Dennis Roberts officiating.

choice. Diuguid Waterlick Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
