Obituary of Jean Jones

Jean Hayes Jones, 76, of Evington died Monday, June 2, 2008 in Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of the late William Frank Jones, Sr. Born April 20, 1932 in Danville she was a daughter of the late Mack McKinley and Bertha Thomas Hayes. Jean was a retired employee of The Lane Company and a member of Penuel Baptist Church in Altavista. She is survived by two sons, William Frank Jones, Jr. and wife Pamela of Roanoke and Richard Wayne Jones of Lexington; two grandchildren, Jason and Nicole Jones of Clearwater, Florida and 2 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Friday 11:00 am at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel with the Rev. Carlton Gunter officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before service time at the funeral home.
