I moved to Lynchburg 38+ years ago and one of the first people I worked with was Fred. He always amazed me with his "never complain" attitude and would always be willing to help others. He loved his family and loved to discuss sports they were involved in. Truly a great man and who never compromised his values. We had many many conversations about life and family. I loved hearing his thoughts... He will be missed by many and I hope and pray that the peace that surpasses all understanding will be his family's knowing that he is in a much better place.
Rest in peach "Freddie".. you will be missed greatly !!
Fred, never met a stranger and always had a true sense of
humor. I have known Fred for 40 plus years, having worked with him at CL Lewis. He was an excellent worker, very knowledgeable and a great man. Fred raised his son to carry on his legacy, and was very proud of his grandsons. I know his family misses him greatly but rest assured he is in a better place. Rest in peace, Fred
Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. So sorry for your loss. Fred will be missed at work. He had the best personality. Hold on to all those precious memories that you all made as a family, praying that they will help you through the hard times. Heaven’s gain but our community has suffered a huge loss!!
