Obituary of Thomas Andrew Cobb, Sr.

Thomas Andrew Cobb, Sr., 62, of Lynchburg, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Lynchburg General Hospital. 

Born September 9, 1960, he was a son of the late Ernest Roger Cobb, Sr and Lorraine Taylor Cobb. He was a graduate from E.C. Glass High school and received his associates degree from Central Va. Community College and was retired owner of Cobb Stump Grinding Company and of the Methodist faith. He previously owned a bicycle sales and repair shop. He loved to tube in the river and dealing in antiques. 

He is survived by one son, Thomas Andrew Cobb, Jr. Of Lynchburg and one daughter Jessica Denise Cobb also of Lynchburg; one brother, Ernest Roger Cobb, Jr of Lynch Station, VA; three grandchildren, Sydni Adams, Elijah Tompkins, and Issiah Tompkins. 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.  

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel. 

Entombment will be in the family cemetery in Lynchburg Station, VA.
