Obituary of Harold Hudson

Harold Hudson, Jr, 77, of Goode, VA, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Lynchburg General Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Leonard Hudson.

Born September 6, 1943 in Lynchburg, VA, he was a son of the late Harold and Nora Davidson Hudson. He was retired from Ericsson after thirty plus years. He was a member of Norwood Baptist Church. He loved his farm and the animals therein. In addition to his wife, Betty, he is survived by two daughters, Sherry Rice (Ralph), SuzanneThornsbury (Terry); one step-daughter, Loretta Wright (Hugh); one brother, Danny Hudson; one sister, Mary Lou Coffey; three grandchildren, Tiffany Rice, Eddie Rice and Sawyer Rice; two step-grandchildren, Jr. Wright and Melinda Rodney.

An entombment service will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Virginia Memorial Park with Pastor Sam Stump officiating.

All Covid precautions must be observed for those in attendance.
