Obituary of Una Diane Elkner

Una Diane Elkner, 78, of Lynchburg, died Saturday, April 13, 2019 at her residence.

In her younger days she won local track events while participating in Special Olympics.

In addition to being featured in the Richmond Times-Dispatch (with picture) for her rapid clockwork parts assembly, she was again featured (with pictures) in the paper for her art work.She took  lessons for many years and, in fact, at one time her work was displayed in the Lynchburg Town Hall.

She is the daughter of Una and Harry Elkner of Northern VA. She is survived by her sisters Harriette Christine Butler and Holly Elkner Morris.

Graveside services are being planned for later in the week.
